In 1986, at the foot of the famous Rialto Bridge and in the surroundings of the Rialto Market, the Belardinelli family opens its first “Rialto 79” store. The store is incorporated in the San Giacomo church of Rialto, whose fame is being the most ancient church in Venice, and it characterises itself for the uniqueness of the extractable wooden window, dating back to the first decades of the 20th century, whose shelf is still now used as a handicraft laboratory for the making of Murano glass jewels.
