Celebrating New Year’s Eve in Venice is, without doubt, one of the most romantic ways to spend the last day of the year. This year – like in the last few years – there will be a great Love Celebration in St Mark’s Square. The arrival of the new year will be celebrated by a lovely, choral group kiss followed by a toast and fireworks, which will light up the Venice Lagoon and create a spectacular pattern of colours reflected in the water.
