The city of Venice is preparing to host Patti Smith, a concert that has the right credentials to make history. The fans of the genre need to sign on their schedule the day 9th of June 2018, on this date the Priestess of rock Patti Smith will dominate the stage of the theater Teatro Stabile del Veneto during the event organised together with Veneto Jazz inside the festival "Dal Vivo". "Words and Music", the name of the artist's show, an intimate reading session spaced out with some of her most famous songs, will be accompained on stage by the bassist Tony Shanahan and by her son Jackson Smith on the guitar. True Icon of alive rock during her over 40 years of career, she went through Punk becoming the Icon, and she analized this world through all its forms of art: music, photography, poetry, novels, painting and sculpture. Leaving a lasting sing on any of these expressions. The Festival "Dal vivo" is organised by Veneto Jazz and the Teatro Stabile del Veneto in collaboration with the city of Venice, Regione del Veneto, Ministero dei Beni e delle Attività Culturali e del Turismo. The tickets for the Patti Smith concert will be available in pre-sale starting from February 6 inside ticket one network and in Teatro Goldoni ticket office.
